I feel very privileged to be appointed as one of the Foundation Deputy Principals for Nukumea Primary. I am really looking forward to meeting the school community and building fantastic relationships with our ākonga and their whānau. I consider myself to be an empathetic, optimistic, and innovative leader.  I can't wait to bring the school's vision to life.

I am excited to be part of the Foundation Team at Nukumea. The increased use of play as a tool for teaching and learning in primary school classrooms alongside a move towards more holistic views of learning, sparked my interest in working at the school. I am passionate about intentional teaching through play, exemplary teaching practice and inclusive classroom environments.

I am pleased to introduce myself as a member of the Foundation Team at Nukumea Primary School. I have a passion for teaching and highly value strong communication and links between home and school. I believe in bringing out the best in each and every child, and will ensure that I will do all that I can to support the children whose parents allow them into our care.

I am so excited to join the team at Nukumea Primary as a Learning Assistant. I live on the coast with my 2 adult children and enjoy walking my German Shepard pup along the many beautiful beaches. I believe that every child has the right to learn in an environment that makes them feel confident and supported. I aim to encourage all children to achieve their fullest potential by building relationships and developing trust while working together with their classroom teachers.

I am so excited and honoured to be appointed as a Foundation Teacher for Nukumea Primary School. My main teaching philosophy is that 'happy children learn', so I try my best every day to make my classroom a fun and enjoyable environment. I am constantly seeking new ways to integrate digital technologies in the classroom, whilst keeping a balance with pen and paper. I can’t wait to embark on this new journey and look forward to meeting the Nukumea community.

It is a real honour to be on the Foundation Team at Nukumea Primary. I am determined to ignite creativity and see all students reach their fullest potential through a localised curriculum and mana-enhancing approach. I endeavour to make the classroom a welcoming and inspiring place where all tamariki can build a strong sense of belonging and identity.
